Lab 1605-1
  1. Decide on an organization to use for all of your labs in this course.  This organization could be several things.  It could be a business where you once worked or currently are working.  It could a home business.  It could be part of a volunteer organization that you are a member of.  Think of an area in the business that could benefit by using a Electronic Data Management System (EDMS).
  2. Using the organization above, write a one page document defining the goal, objectives, and scope of your proposed document management system for this organization. This is the beginning of your 'Document Management Policy'.  Content for this paper should come from knowledge and ideas learned from reading the textbook.  Approximate length should be 1 page typed.
  3. Write a one page document discussing some of the obstacles involved and solutions to overcome them. 4. When writing these papers write them as if you are presenting a proposal to your supervisor or manager.  Show a level of professionalism in your writing and content.  All papers need to be typed and neatly formatted, spell and grammar checked.  You are selling yourself as well as your idea.  You are trying to sell your idea to your supervisor or manager to turn your idea into a company project.  Turn in these two pages as Lab 1605-1.
